    As a solo traveller, I was nervous about booking a private tour, but Padraig made me feel completely at ease from the start. We did the Ring of Kerry at a pace that suited me, stopping at viewpoints the tour buses skip entirely. He took me to a small café in Sneem where I had the best scones of my trip, and his stories about the local history brought the landscape to life. It felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by a friend who happens to know every inch of Kerry.

The drive to Kenmare was relaxing after a long journey, and he gave us some great tips on where to eat and what to see during our stay.     My wife and I hit a home run by hiring Padraig as our driver for our first visit to Killarney and the very popular Dingle Peninsula. We knew that the roads are narrow and there were hidden sightseeing gems with quaint pubs/restaurants (that offer cold Guinness/Murphy's), so we thought a driver would be a good move. Padraig was not only born/raised locally, so he knew all the back roads, but also had great stories of the history and current activities. He recently moved back to the Killarney area with his family. Also, since we live outside NYC, Padraig knew our home after spending many years in NYC. We had an amazing 8 hours in Dingle. We highly recommend Padraig.
